The possibility to create a short URL rd.tc/kurzeurl to any URL with a maximum length of 2048 characters. A 301 redirect can be created as a short URL or as a personalized URL.

Short URLs and personalized URLs are always encrypted HTTPS URLs and can redirect to both HTTP and HTTPS URLs. When redirecting to an HTTP URL, encryption is not required.

The destination URL of a short URL or a personalized URL can be changed at any time. For example, re-dire.me/myurl, which originally pointed to www.google.com, can be modified to point to www.facebook.com.

Notes can be added for each short URL or personalized URL to later remind the purpose of the URL entry.

It is possible to search for short URLs and personalized URLs to quickly find the desired link and edit it or view the related statistics.

The import function can be used to automatically create short URLs that point to the original target URL.

It is possible to export short URLs in Excel format, but this format cannot be imported again. To import URL’s, the appropriate template format must be used.
